Description
Working time: Each character took one day.
Cross and Dust have received several changes and therefore needed 2 days.
Sketches, references and poses took half a day.
I really used the time and tried to make it look as organic as possible.
Killer I will probably rework again, I don't like it yet.
Nightmare! passive I leave so because I will never be satisfied with it anyway...

A whole week and I am quite satisfied and proud of my performance. Shadows I left after I tried Nightmares Shading and held everything simple (or tried)
except Horros firefish reference are all animals that you can keep in aquariums. (well you cold keep a firefish in a glass bowl but...come on...no)
Found the idea quite fun.
LeviathanTale is a muse for this, of course. And this is the first time I've ever drawn sea...
people?- Mer? Skelemer?
Let's stick with monsters.

Drawing Nightmare in passive form came to me only after I found the fish for it. Leviathantale shows him as an octopus or something.
My idea was Nightmare and Dream are the children of a ship trading empire and one stormy day Nightmare "fell" into the sea and drowned.
Later he magically became a siren who drives sailors mad out of revenge and so on. Of course, he did not just fall. He was first slain by the sailors (hence the hole and now overgrown eye that he kept as a trauma wound on his soul) and then thrown into the sea as he slowly crumbled to dust).
His dust sank into a sea rift and there on the remains of an ancient leviathan. Old God goes brrrrrr. Muse also taken from World of Warcraft by Azhara and N'Zoth. Those Elfes got turned after a Katastrophe to Nagas. And Azhara became "Queen" because she would not just serve, to proud that girl. (for those that have no clue what i am talking about)

Further I have not yet thought, maybe I get ideas while swimming.

I first wanted to give everyone a complete new look but.... somehow I could not convince myself after I painted horror kind of cute but very bitey. (now that I look at it again...its head hole I want to draw it again I see mistakes again...arghhh help)

The first version of Cross was...a disaster. weird position, proportions. I'm glad I did the work and redid it again.
(my eyes fall again on Killer...NO I MUST REMAIN STRONG ... i need the break T.T)

Dust... i couldn't decide which creature i wanted to imitate him. First it was a Seaturtle stingray hybrid. Then a Guppy. At some point I thought I would just draw a shark. I'm glad I thought of my favorite aquarium animals I love catfish.

Nightmare- Moscau Blue Guppy
Dust- Hara hara/Erethistes pusillus (butterfly catfish)
Cross -Bichir
Killer -Lakeside Sunset Betta Fish
Horror -Broadbarred Firefish

More Info to come. I Still have Ideas. But for now I need to get going.
