Simple explanation. It lowers blood pressure, and has other medicinal uses. Like relieving stress. It's nice to just kick back after you get home from work and knock off a few knuckle-babies before hitting the ol' boob tube.

Nah, it's weird, because, Transformers is the kind of show I would have loved as a kid, and I recognize enough of the characters that I KNOW I had to have watched it before.... but I cannot ever recall seeing Bumblebee.
I was always into Beetlejuice and the Power Rangers and Eureka's Castle as a kid. I did have a couple of Care Bears tapes, tough, I remember that.
