All Hail the QueenMy half of an art trade with my close friend Whitney (catsmeow on Furaffinity and artofwhitney on Tumblr). She wanted a piece like the Wanna Be Player 2? deviation I did for my girlfriend.
So, although Whit is very sweet and caring, she is also a kickass, takes-no-crap kind of person. True to form, I hear she is merciless at Super Smash Brothers =^..^=

I'm gonna also agree with Robo-Shark on here; this is such a lovely piece. What really draws me in is the fuller figure of this lovely dame, along with the pretty purple shading.
I'd be honored and probably a little intimidated if I were to meet her. Takes no crap and kick-ass in Super Smash Brothers? Count me in!

Whitney is definitely a lovely, charming person. She(& her character) actually has a niche fanbase from her husband's all-ages comic, www.peterandcompany.com, and she sometimes streams with her husband in their art livestream which he advertises on the site. It's a good time and I definitely recommend checking their work out!

Thanks so much for the nice comment, I love drawing girls and women so I'm glad that seems a plus in my skillset. I study shoujo manga covers and pinups, and it's a ton of fun to play on those notes I make when I have the chance to draw something like this.
I tried to incorporate as much personality of my friend here as I could and most people would agree she's pretty boss, I'm glad it came through! She also loves Hello Kitty so I had to put a nod to that in with the pillow there XD ( Jess and I p. much know we MUSTΒ take her to the Sanrio store in NY for some merch stockupΒ when she comes to visit).

Your work does sometimes take a pinup-esque approach! But while also still remaining...very tasteful. I love pinup art when it's done well, I adore the feel to it when it contains a lot of character and shows a woman in an empowered feeling position. And it doesn't have to be risque to have that right feel to it Cx
Aw man if Hunter and I end up in New York we'll have to hit up Sanrio then too hahah! Sounds fun!
