I hate this show, and I hate this character. Yet, despite that, I found myself recreating this assholish Border Collie thing's head. I decided to roll with it, and figured that I would do one of two things. Either I would stylize it as a shooting range target, complete with the bulls-eye set between Mr. Pickles' eyes, or I would have the entity's head mounted and bleeding on a pike. I mean, hey, what better way would there be to emphasize how much this series disgusted me when I tried to watch it, only to immediately regret it?But then I remembered. A while ago, I pledged to stop making hate art-in this case, art that portrayed characters (or sometimes businesses) in a negative light to reflect my contempt for them. I felt it was pointless to spend time and effort on artwork of characters I don't like, when I could instead channel that energy into stuff I do like, or into making what I hate better. Here, though, there's nothing I really could do to make Mr. Pickles better. But, remembering this pledge, I decided to just leave it as a basic fanart piece. I mean, it's not the first time I've MS Painted characters I'm not a fan of. So, for those who are fans of this character and this show, here's a piece of fanart for you.
Weird what artwork of characters you hate can sometimes make you consider.

yea this show's awful! i mean, how can you name a show after a dog who's never actually in the main focus of the show? i really hope it gets cancelled soon cause it's making a huge disservice to Adult Swim.

Oohhhhhh GOD this show freaking terrifies me but yet i still find myself drawn to finishing the episode. I HATE it, it's super creepy, but yet i can't find the urge to turn the channel.....

On a more pleasant note regarding canine characters, I saw a PAW Patrol episode where they had a talent show band. After dealing with this Mr. Pickles stuff, it was a much-welcomed respite.

It is. And yet, ironically, despite being a monstrous entity from the shitholes of Hell, Mr. Pickles' design is the least disgusting. At least, until he starts showing fangs, dilating his pupils, and talking backwards.

Huh.... sounds almost like that Invader Zim Halloween special, with Dib's head nightmare monster trying to escape into the real world but is SO disgusted by the "real" children there, she literally retreated back in the crazy nightmare world.... but THAT was an actual original GOOD idea...
