I've been sick lately so I've been doodling instead of working on all the stuff I was actually supposed to finish.... I know I shouldn't finish private stuff before commissions and stuff... but eh my brain was not working towards for anything productive... so yeah... have a quick drawing of Luma.

she's gonna be part of a new game I'll be playing in in the future ^^ can't wait for that ^^

[if anyone from the campaign is also on DA please do not read any further? plz Imma post her backstory here and I don't want you guys to know please respect that? idk]

Luma is 15 and lived on the streets of Fradwys for most of her life and the only true possession she ever had was a rusted key on a leather string around her neck and a little gnomish lullaby stuck in her head every now and then.
One particular bad year almost brought her close to certain starvation if it hadn't been for Conner, a young human musician with brown hair and eyes, taking pity on her. He shared some of his food with her and more or less took her under his wing.
Eventually Connor became somewhat of an parental figure or big brother figure. He tough her a lot of stuff.. or tried, like lying but she sucks at it.
They didn't had much, but it was enough to survive most of the times.
They tried to earn their keep the rightful way for a while by performing in the local pups and inns,but they soon realized this would probably not be enough, also Luma had next to no talent besides juggling a bunch of knifes around. So while Connor continued to preform his music in the front, Luma would learn to sneak around the back and empty the pockets of some of the guests.
Connor was nice and kind to her, but he did had his secrets. Luma was painfully aware of that. Sometimes he would get those phases where he would shake a lot or get mad for seemingly no reason. Sometimes he even disappeared for a few days in a row with only a quick goodbye or a note. In those times Luma was left alone with Charlie (the mouse). So Charlie is basically the only one knowing about her deep fear of being alone because she never wanted to burden Connor with that stuff.
She didn't ask what was going on, she didn't feel she had the right to get involved and if Conner would've wanted to talk about it, he would've done so.
And one fateful evening, he was especially distressed, he told her he had to take care of something and that he would be back very soon. He told her not to worry and to wait in their room in a little inn till he'd be back.
But he never came back. Luma stayed in their room for days, until their money ran low and the innkeeper kicked her out.
After that she went back to one of their little hide outs they had taken shelter in a while ago, hoping he'd find her there. She didn't knew what else to do.
Deep down she knows that he's probably not coming back, but she's too afraid of being completely alone, so she clings to the knowledge that he's on his way back home or something just prevented him from coming back but he's still somewhere looking for her. She's training her lying abilities to make him proud, to eventually help him with his performances, so they can maybe someday do bigger things than just steal some coin.
I started looking for Conner all over Fradwys but when I wasn't able to find him I started thinking of maybe looking in different places and when I meet Elphira I decided to follow/join her on her travel to Brinedell.
