FINALLY! The Hair Tutorial!Guys, it sucked somehow to make this, but you know, I do everything for you... well... almost everything ;D
As so many of you asked me to do this, I'd be REALLY happy to hear if this is actually helpful or just confusing as hell. Again, I love to see the results and give you feedback if you want to show them (;

Colour change tutorial. I need it D: I have trouble changing colours of horses. Your tutorials are amazing! They are so helpful.

I don't do equine manips anymore, but try desaturating the bottom layer of your horse, put a layer over that one and color it the way you like it, while putting the layer setting on "color"... if your shadows get lost, you can copy your bottom layer and put it on top of everything and on "multiply" and if you highlights get lost copy the bottom layer and put it on everything and on "highlight" or something similar. If this is too confusing (

Well, this is the hair stuff before this tutorial, after it I used a different technique (because I got my tablet to work properly^^) - but I'm glad if it helps you!

Lässt sich auch mit Photoshop gut bearbeiten. Die Technik lässt sich ja unabhängig von der Software anwenden, weil die Tools im Grunde die selben sind

Für die Haare bin ich zu doof, mein PS mag mein Tablett nicht und in gimp siehts bei mir hinterher doof aus ...

Hö? Also... Die Kompatibilitätsprobleme sollte man mal lösen (können). Ist doch doof wenn du ein Tablet UND PS hast und trotzdem nichts geht weil die nicht miteinander spielen wollen.^^
Und Gimp... jaa... Ich benutze immer Gimp, ich finds eigentlich benutzerfreundlich. Sag Bescheid wenn ich dir irgendwie konkret helfen kann...

Bin ja auch mehr der Gimp-Mensch, aber da wirken die Pinsel-Brushes immer so ... ich sag mal hart, während man bei PS ja was einstellen soll, wenn man sowas zeichnet und einmal konnte ich das machen, aber nachdem ich dann das Tablett nicht mehr angeschlossen hatte und am nächsten wieder was versuchen wollte, konnte ich das wieder nicht einstellen und ich weiß nicht, woran es liegt.
Ich werds die Tage mal mit gimp nochmal versuchen, aber obs was wird ...

Also wie gesagt, das oben hab ich alles mit GIMP gemacht. Stimmt schon, da sind die Pinsel deutlich beschränkter... aber da kann man auch was einstellen, je nachdem welche Version du hast. Aber zumindest Transparenz, Größe, weiche oder harte Kante sind drin, je nach Tablet auch Varianz in der Größe oder Deckkraft.
