In short, the plotline for the series finale "Invader Dib"--as confirmed by writer Eric Trueheart (according to you Angie, he has confirmed this)--has ZIM, Skooge, Tenn, and other Irkens banding together against the threat of Dib, a possible Tak return (to ally with Dib due to feeling scorned by her own species and her hatred of ZIM), and the combined might of the Meekrob and the Resisty. Just when things look blackest for ZIM and company, complete with a depiction of all Irken life dying for ZIM to witness, a hooded figure comes out of the shadows to convince ZIM to not give up the fight. Ultimately, by sheer luck no doubt, ZIM wins, banishing Dib and his remaining forces to the remote corners of planet Saturn. As for the hooded figure who was instrumental in ZIM's victory, she is revealed to be Gaz, Dib's scary sister! However, with no family left due to Dib's banishment, an absentee father, and no mom of which to speak of, Gaz goes with ZIM to become the new rulers of intergalactic space.
