Browsing 's excellent stories, I came across the Maxim stories which i did not do all that much justice I'm pained to admit. I did manage to do a bit of preliminary designs for both Optimus and Maxim, a story original transformer, including a bit of an alt-mode. It makes me incredibly happy to see Maxim's original tinybot mode survived to the finished story.And having never thought of posting it here until the story was up, which i believe it now is, so there.

The designs you put together are phenomenal, so there's absolutely nothing to apologise for. I gave you the roughest of outline for what Maxim could look like, and in return, you gave me a fully realised model!
I know your time for such things is scare nowadays, but if you're ever in the mood for something a little left of centre, I'd love to see a reimagined Carnivac design -- one that keeps his wolf head in robot-mode, making him look a bit like Anubis from ancient Egyptian mythology...
