Description
A drum I made under the direction of in 2004.The design includes a "Song Dog" (Coyote).
Assembled and painted in 2004, photo in 2011. (This photo is actually after a massive flood in my area. The drum was salvaged and after some washing and sanitizing, survived!)

Coyotes make everything better... and while I'm sure that folkloric, Trickster coyote would have a great time laughing at the flood, I'm sure glad that this coyote made it out okay. Your drums are always so wonderful.

I painted mine with acrylic.
I'd recommend contacting Foxfeather. She's the one who taught me and she makes some darn amazing drums!! Here's her website: [link]
