^_^ I dont even play FFXI anymore... But when i did! it was fun-- I of course played as a Mithra (because they are 1 of the 2 decent races in the game-- and they are hawt...) And so did Shiden! The one with Pink hair is my character- Sakura, and the other is Yumi, which was of course Shiden! woot! Good times... hope someone out there makes a REALLY complex MMORPG sooner or later-- like "The World" from .hack
Im probably going to do more like this later...

I just stoped playing FFXI was from Rumah. Mithras are hot n they came out with a new Online FF game FF14

Except they were stupid and didnt keep calling them Mithra, stupider than calling their humans Hume in FFXI, and FFXIV is such a bad game they are talking about making it free to play already and making the market micro transactions only... SquareEnix doesn't deserve its own name these days ^_^;

Pardon me while I go get a job, upgrade my computer so it doesn't lag quite so much in the newer games and buy FFXI.
By the way, yes, someone needs to make a really complex MMORPG. The current MMO's only have general social actions and such.... It's sad really. I'd LOVE to be a catguy in an MMO who ran up to random people and hugged them just to see their expressions.

Pfft! Elvaan- the stuck up race of tall jerks! I never met a nice one! And the Taru's are perverted= always pulling on mithra's tails and spanking them- or running between their legs for a closer look... and the Galka! Bah the Galka- Brick walls with equivilant brains!

hey dont bash us Elvaans XD everyone KNOWS Mithra dig us tall and handsome elves ^^ we've got pointy ear just like them, and since we're tall... well let's just say they like us cauz certtain things are 'propotional' to our length XD. Plus hey, Mithra/Elvaan crossover would ROCK, the insane strength of an elv plus the pinpoint accuracy of a mithra.
ahh yes, the elv accuracy, so much miss fests XD
and yes tarus are perverted and annoying, but they like galka cauz they use their tails as slides.

I know we're just nitpicking for giggles at this point:
Go to Square-Enix's main FFXI page, and they have a section for the "Create your character" in which they have the official high-res mithra shots. Those pics obviously show them covered in very short orange-ish fur. If you watch any of the CG stuff (like the opening credits movie) it's also pretty easy to tell.

ya know i thought about that too but then dismissed it as "depressing"... wait-- actually i wonder about Mithra-- is it really fur? I mean-- its looks like a flesh tone color-- and there is not texture to it-- so it seems more like skin to me... and if they are catgirls-- then they have to have more skin than fur.... otherwise they become a furry-- and no one wants that... cept the furries of course

Well, from all the Mithra art I have seen, both official and unofficial, Mithra appear to be 100% furless, even their ears and tails appear to have no hair/fur on them.

They kind of are making The World from .hack, but I don't think it's going to be anywhere near as in-depth as the one in the anime.
