I isnpired their designes from a couple of fanart pictures but I mainly inspired them from their older designs or characters that are similar to them. (Ex: Alya's outfit is inspired from a concept design where she wore a red dress and white long socks and Nino Lahiffe's design is taken from a scrapped character Gavroche. I also inspired Marinette from her PV design and gave her an adorable cardigan. And Lila... well... I inspired heavilly from Zendaya Coleman since I imagine her playing her in the Live Action movie. I also had Adrien's hair look more easy to recreate and change up for when he transform into our loveable kitty but I ended up somehow making him look like my self model... oh, well. XD

THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT MY FAN-REIMAGINING SO FAR (This is really long):

The fan series is basically a mix of the canon series and the PV with a couple of twists added by myself based on a couple of theories I have about the show already. I'm waiting until Season 2 is finished so i'd get more inspiration. It's also going to be a little darker (which makes the fanseries TV-14 if it were mainstream) but I will try to give it some lighthearted (hilarious) and emotional moments. Like season 2, I want to give the lore of the miraculouses a more in-depth exploration and have the series focus on the perspectives on each of the characters shown above, to see their sheltered lives and how the see the world. I have also thought about a bunch of additions and adjustments but I'm gonna try to have them make sense to the situations our characters are going through (it's hard to explain but maybe when I make it, you'll understand).

"Why the hell is Lila there? And why is she a main character?"

I found that the hate towards her was so sudden from the fandom. We only met her ONCE and what did she do? She lied to impress other people... something EVERYONE has done in their lives and we attack her like she's done worse than Chloe, where Chloe basically broke many laws to get what she wanted. I wanted to give my perspective on why Lila did what she did since at this moment, it will take a MIRACLE for something like that to happen since we have not seen or heard from her in season 2.

So here's my take on her:

1. She was already a new student who moved from Italy and is still trying to adjust to her Parisian life.

2. Her father is already a famous italian director, which makes her a spoiled rich girl.

3. She's a part of Chloe's clique, alongside Sabrina.

4. She will have an episode where she unintentionally causes and Akumazation.

5. She'll have a different love interest, and It's NOT who you'll expect.

I hope you guys will like my take on her, better than what we've been given.

For Marinette:
I did also add that since she got her miraculous, Marinette is willing to learn as much as she can about its history based on what Tikki experienced, having them grow a stronger bond with her mentor and aid. I also wanted to share how I would tell the perspective of ourfavorite bugaboo, or buginette. In my take of the series, she's still the same person but she sufferes from social anxiety due to past bullying incidents from her longtime rival,
Chloé Bourgeois. The only people aside from her loving and supportive family who help her try to get through life are Alya, Nino, Rose and Juleka. It's emotionally painful for Marinette to constantly be afraid to speak without fumbling her fingers and having trouble saying the right thing without internally panicking. I figured adding on the anxiety would be suitable for her clumsy and awkward behavior. I also added that a short time after she recieves her miraculous, she shows interest in learning more of its history from Tikki's knowledge and experience, where she's also told about a missing spellbook. Yes, I somewhat add more of a detective plot devise to Marinette as it could help her mature and try to be more independent without being afraid all of the time and learn to be more responsible with and without the aid of her friends, kwami and her experiences as ladybug. I also am planning on adding that while she still has feelings for Adrien, she eventually grows suspicious and worried about what's really going on in his private life, as well as include even more interaction to the point where they slowly start to feel even more comfortable with one another and, while she still fumbles with her words, grow a small bond. Yes, she still gets friendzoned, but it still makes her happy that she manages to make a new friend on her own and make Adrien feel belonged and bee seen as more than just a pretty face and a hot body... I'm sorry.

I also did something pretty clever with her civilian form, I changed her hair color to a natural black rather than her blue hair. The reason I did this was because I figured out that it would be more realistic for her to have naturally black hair BUT she recieves a blue hair color when she transforms into Ladybug. I felt that this was neccissary not only because that I wanted their appearance to differ heavilly between her civilian and alter-ego, but I also feel that as black can be a symbolism and reference of her lonliness but pink being a reference to her elegancy and creativity of her fashion inspiration and baking skills. And her ladybug appearance, her blue hair symbolizes her loyalty, reliability, confidence and wisdom. and the red references love and adventure. Black referencing strength, authority and rebellion.

I also had an idea that later in the possible series: as a tribute to her newfound confidence and responsibility, Marinette dyes her hair into a blue ombre as an honor to be the miraculous ladybug.

For Adrien:
And like Marinette, I wanted to share how I would tell the perspective of our favorite sexy kitty.

I recycle some aspects from Felix but in my take of the series, he does still model for his father's fashion brand... but until he went to a public school, he never left his house with the exception of fashion runway shows. The photoshoots were always done in his home, as well as his chinese lessons, fencing and martial arts lessons as his father refused to let him out into such a cruel world. It was frustrating and devestating for Adrien to be kept imprisoned in his own home his whole life. He was alright with the lessons he was getting, but he still wanted to have a social life and make friends (who aren't Chloe as she's a "Family friend"). He only gained actual affection from his mother, Emilie until she mysteriously vanished, as if it were into thin air.

After Adrien's 16th birthday, he repeatedly begged his father to let him go to a real school for his senior year, to which he repeatedly angrilly refuses. But after Natalie convinces Gabriel, he only allows Adrien to go if he goes by a different name, Felix Minou. But there was only one condition; if he gets a call from his school for misbehaving, he will throw him back into homeschooling and work him into modelling like a dog. Gabriel cares heavilly about his brand and he doesn't want Adrien to ruin anything about it.

Adrien's relationship with Marinette is a bit closer than the real show, as despite her studdering, he still has comfortable and stimulating conversations with her and is even impressed by her clothing designs. But I add a small twist inspired from a fan theory. Remember when I changed up the Ladybug design to have her be more recognizable? Adrien doesn't realize that Ladybug is Marinette until he recognizes her eyes in his first day at a real school. He kept his promise about revealing their identities with Plagg but Mari IS still in his suspect list. At first, he believed that Marinette's "shyness" was all an act to avoid suspicion until he got to know her more about her anxiety and social issues, a thing he has in common with her. She also felt sympathetic as he slightly opens up about his personal life. About losing his mom, how stressfull making friends and bonding with his father is, the works. The bond is stronger in this take but its closer when he converses with Marinette as Chat Noir. He originally intended to do this to (indirectly) interrogate Marinette until she's more calm and comfortable talking with Chat than she is with Adrien, he becomes more aware of her feelings for him. So he keeps up this "forbidden romance".

As for his relationship with his father, with all of the shit that Gabriel is putting Adrien through as Hawkmoth or not; It still manipulates Adrien's mental and emotional health to the point where he can't funtion properly and it worries Marinette as she notices this and sets off to investigate his father. It wouldn't be long until Adrien becomes HM's little puppet.

With Chat's powers, I also threw in some of the original powers that were given to Felix that never appeared in the canon series: black hole and bad luck. I felt like these would be neccissarry powers as a referense to Adrien's dark side and his deteriorating mental health caused by his father but he goes out of his way to use it for good as he's still pure in heart, sometimes he loses control and accidentally uses the bad luck on someone who intends to harm.

I'll update more later, but until then: enjoy my re-imagining so far of one of my favorite shows of all time. I want to make this with all of my heart and love this show put into me! :3
