Bio: Non-binary (She/They); Neve was born in Baade City to some rather well-off Canidae centaurs and was the eldest of two sisters. Her family were effectively all socialites, but Neve was... odd for a Canidae, in their eyes. She never liked being around strangers, sticking with her sister more often than not, and seemed to have difficulties understanding what others were saying to her. To her, there were rules she was never told, body language she was just expected to understand, and even when she was told what it meant, others could do those same things when they didn't feel a certain way, and she was forever out of the loop. She got in trouble for being fidgety, for her hands fluttering when she was anxious or excited, or simply because she didn't look someone in the eye when they spoke to her.

Neve and their mother never got along well, with her expectations for her child putting pressure on them that they didn't know how to combat. Neve was (and still is) kind and quick to learn things they're interested in, but to their mother, it wasn't enough. It was never enough. They couldn't 'socialize properly,' they were argumentive, they couldn't keep quiet when they disagreed with someone. They were somehow too honest, even when they got in trouble for lying. Eventually, Neve's mother turned her attention away from them entirely. She had given up on them and instead turned to their sister. The favoritism had become clear over the years, with Neve's sister getting everything she wanted. Slowly, she turned away from Neve as well. All because Neve didn't fit in from no fault of their own.

So she left, when she felt she could survive. She wasn't stupid - she was just different. Neve made her way eastward and stuck to herself for a while, sometimes fighting at the Kaus Borealis Coliseum to make ends meet and find something to do with her time. She was small, but she knew how to hold her own. Now, though? She wants to do more than run and fight. She wants to live, by her own terms and her own rules, without someone telling her she's doing it wrong when she's hurting no one else.
