I'm so proud to have a brother fighting for this country. I'm proud to say he's my brother; I couldn't ask for a better one. I'm a proud army sister.When people see him with his buzz cut and in his uniform, they tell him that they appreciate him and all the troops for what they do (total strangers do this), and I can't tell you how proud I am to stand by him when they say this.
He's in Afghanistan ; I know I could never be that brave.
It's hard saying good-bye to him after we get to visit, I've lived with him my whole life, so it takes time getting used to the fact that he's not in the house anymore. But, I have faith in God to keep him safe

I'm not a military sister (yet!), but my brother wants to join the USAF. Funny, cause I've recently been thinking about joining the military, too. I'm gonna fav this anyway

my brother is gonna join our armed forces so he can do border patrol! he doesnt know which one though! i think he said army or marines. he's studying criminal justice in college and if u wanna do border patrol he's gotta join the armed forces first!

I dunno. Ever since I was a little kid I've been really patriotic and supportive of our soldiers.

I'm definitely proud of you brother. ^^ Like I said, he's like a brother to me, and a great one at that. ^^ I appreciate him and the rest of the troops and what they do and pray for him very chance I get.
