If you people are really wondering their ages go to the One Piece Wiki people! It has their ages! Luffy is 17 and Ace is 20 jeez the author told that in the manga!

she's luffy's lover not mother.. luffy age is 17 years and her age is 27/28 and i guess Ace age is 21/22.. so how its possible? and beside luffy's mother last name is purtagass. Ace took her mother last name instead of father. and Hebihime full name is Boa hancock and she's unmarried.
i guess you read comments of luffy x nami fans..

No actually I'm hearing from people that assume she's Luffy's mother because she and Luffy almost have identical looking faces

Well, while she's definitely not his mother, she's not exactly his lover either. She does have feelings for Luffy, but he feels nothing romantic for her.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not a rabid fangirl for any pairing XD I'm just going by the facts

Aso, well i kinda got that impression when i got a peek at the latest issue of One Piece
He thanks her for feeding him, and she hears him saying "Arigatou" somehow as "Aishiteru" and i would like to see luffy, and any of the others in love with atleast someone
I mean Pirating only gets more fun when you have a woman (or man) at your side
You may not like the idea then of me pairing off one of my Crossover OC's with Luffy huh? It's sweet and Funny at the same time, i tried not to Mary-Sue Luffy too much with this pairing, but a friend of mines says if he ever saw Luffy in love, i nailed his attitude with him being in love down pat

I think that's just major irony. The one woman that every man on earth would love to have is in love with the one man who isn't interested in her in the slightest. That's what I love about Oda's storytelling.
And as much as we (or any other fan) would like to see the Strawhats in love, Oda has said many times that he doesn't intend for romance to develop with the Strawhats. And I think that's a good decision on his part. It's not necessary for the world of One Piece.
And hey, a fic is a fic ^^ They're for your enjoyment and hopefully the enjoyment of a few others. And if you made an effort to stay away from making it a Mary Sue fic and nailed Luffy's attitude, then more power to you

Haha, I WISH I knew him. Do you know about the SBS? It's a part of a few manga volumes where he answers fan questions. And he's addressed the issue of Strawhat romance in there, and in a few other interviews, I believe.

Ah yesh!! i do know about them, i read them Frequently when i read the Dragonball Manga from Dragonball to DBZ, it's how i know Akira-sempai hates GT with a passion. Saying how he only had *pinch size* that much influence on it, and if he still had control he wouldn't have distributed the series.
I didn't however read the bits Oda-sempai said about addressing romance in One Piece, i been reading the Manga online cuz i can't afford to own them, and the libarry issues have pages torn out of them ((Heathens!!!
