I made this for *TrueArtistsAlliance 's monthly theme of tranquility, visit their shoutbox to see thumbnails of people who have already submitted. i hadn't used 3dsmax in awhile so i did for this piece, nothing fancy, i just used some renders from it layered to get the lighting.stock: &

i absolutely love this image...the tranquility is so very powerful...i have had the worst day ever where i just cannot even look or hear certain people without being tense or angry...the tranquility of the picture though seems to seep into me...it calms me...you did a fabulous job on it, pulled it off perfectly...definately, definately, definately a fave...

Awesome color. I'm curious, how exactly did you use 3DSMAX in this image? I used to use NewTek Lightwave 3D quite a bit several years ago, but have since not kept up with 3d software.

i cannot do much with 3dsmax, but i can make abstract renders and things like that...i made a few and layered them in different blend modes over the image to create the light

This is just lovely - I am amazed at how easily you completely transitioned to blue - I was so happy to see this in my dev watch - it's stunning - Maybe one day I will try something with 3d max but for now I am still tossing and turning with photoshop
