|| PERSONAL INFO
Personality:
[+] Enthusiastic / Agreeable / (Circumstantially) Dedicated / Charismatic
[-] Spoiled / Punctually Unreliable / Sensitive / Withdrawn
On first impression, Heise is a refreshingly charismatic person. His charm does not lie in his looks, but rather comes from the boy's enthusiasm, which tends to put others at ease in the manner excitable puppies are endearing. This was the major trait which earned him his first big break into the acting industry. Combined with his agreeableness and dedication to the job, Heise has little worries about his financial future (or making friends!).
Unfortunately, once one has known Heise for a while, they would realize several things about him. First, his dedication and hardworking attitude only applies to things he's interested in, and whatever is uninteresting or tedious he neglects terribly. The boy is also unreliable when it comes to dates and meetings, although one could also argue that he is reliable in the fact that he's reliably more or less an hour late each time. This trait is exceptionally true when it comes to early meetings or shoots. His punctuality depends on his interest more than the importance of the event. For example, if he has friends at school he likes seeing he always shows up on time, but on the days he knows nothing is happening he might roll in at noon.
In any case, Heise is also a very sensitive person who takes even offhanded criticism rather harshly. As such, reading reviews on his acting often upsets him. Since the boy wears his heart on his sleeves, it's easy to tell when he's been going through online message boards, as he becomes very withdrawn and quiet-- a stark 180 from his usual demeanor. He's not one to talk much about what has been upsetting him, however, so even if it's obvious that he's in a low mood he will deflect most questions and concerns regarding the source.
Lastly, Heise grew up in a rather privileged household and has never wanted for anything. Combined with his growing popularity and fame, he is somewhat lax with money although not altogether irresponsible. His spoiled attitude mostly stems from not giving thought to a lot of things the lower classes might stress over. As an example, Heise is the kind of person who orders three meals from a classy diner without looking at the price tag simply because he wants to eat, but he would never willingly order all of that just to show off. Again, he's driven more by a bit of self-centered spoiledness than any real malice or haughtiness, but he's more than willing to share with those less fortune.
History:
The Kajaharas descend from a line of merchants that date back to the Edo period, but their main claim to fame were through the eras in which they were imperial jewelers. Over time, the family had expanded and adapted to become an international conglomerate. Nonetheless, the Kajahara name still is most prominent as a jewelry brand.
Multi-generations of the Kajaharas live under the same mansion roof, and Heise was no different for the first few years of his life. As such, he was close to his cousins despite having no siblings of his own, making Kajahara Misaki and Kajahara Ira something like his own brother and sister.
In terms of blood relations, Heise's father was a son of the Kajaharas directly. His mother was a popular actress of the time. However, because she was not from an established family, the Kajaharas didn't accept her as one of their own, and over time the additional pressure exerted onto their marriage caused a split between Heise's parents. Ultimately, his mother left and the Kajaharas exercised their power in order to gain custody of the boy. From this event, Heise's father had a falling out with his own family, quit his job as CEO and moved out to a more modest penthouse in the city with his son.
As for Heise, his life seemed normal enough among his peers in the private schools he attended, aside from the part where his mother started him in acting early. From her own connections, Heise's mother was able to get him several contracts and training under many outstanding talents to aid him on his way. It was the only thing she was able to do for him after divorcing her husband, and it was not done out of her own pushiness. Heise genuinely enjoys acting and all the flashy glamour of show biz once he got over his initial shyness as a child.
On the other hand, the move out with his father has caused some slight friction in their relationship. Going from a high powered, strict and stern man to a lazy host who spends all his time flirting in order to laugh in the face of love, Heise's father could simultaneously be said to have become a fraction of the man he was as well as a much more carefree person living his fullest life. It depends on who one asked, and to Heise it definitely looked to be the former. To the boy, it was as though his father had given up on life and love, unable to recover from his divorce and the loss of his wife. Still, while his respect has diminished, Heise's fondness for his father has not waned, and it's apparent in the way he declines any help in taking care of the elder Kajahara despite his busy schedule. To Heise, it is abundantly clear that what his father needs is neither money nor someone else to do his bidding, but the love which is shown in actions. Thus, despite Heise's generally unreliable and irresponsible nature in his personal life, he is always punctual and on top of his father's schedule and general daily needs. Their relationship is a strange one, with Heise playing mother, confidante, and son to a father who is more like a best friend and endless coin purse, but it is nonetheless underlined with steady support and filial love.
