Description
I decided to get back into designing more for the Federation military in my Siege for Sarcoza story.

The Forward Postioned Siege Platform(FPSP-24B), or, Dragonfly, as it's nicknamed, is the Federation's answer when it needs speed and power. A class B model gunship draped in uranium tamed armor, it's main function is to provide support on move, while utilizing side thrusters to dart in various directions or to swing around to finish off targets from a current barrage run. It's armaments can be changed up with a variety of weapon applications, including high explosive autocannons, flash/smoke rockets or grenades/bombs, miniature napalm warheads, incendiary missiles, artillery cannons, mortar launchers, etc. The top thrusters it carries in back are fully pivotal, crucial in landing/take off sequences. While the Barracuda sports a reinforced glass sealed cockpit, the Dragonfly instead uses a sophistocated fully armored cockpit, using state of the art concealed cameras on the outside that are wired to one thin, armored monitor attached to the armored top that helps relay back footage from outside, giving the crew real time footage of their surroundings as far as the top will stretch. This is why Dragonflies are constantly checked for electonic malfunctions before and after operations and standard noncombat deployments. The Dragonfly operates in all theaters and weather. The current Dragonfly sports a simplistic desert tiger stripe camouflage of that time that is currently dying out and finds little to no use.
