Description
Used overlay layer style for initial flat colors on top of the b/w, additional overlay layers for tints and multiply layer to darken the dress highlights. Used two Luminosity groups, both set up with Increasing the darkness and contrast of the initial grey image, with a multiply layer for highlight customization. Duplicated effect but with less brightness for the blue highlights, instead blocked out the brighter yellow side.Related content

Ambient occlusion I used an airbrush and selected certain areas, Β like the legs under the skirt or the face under the hair and airbrushed lightly so it appears to be a soft shadowy thing or AO

o: Gotcha! AO has been confusing me and i use SAI as well. I'd like to also thank you for making this. Now it gives me a more clearer understanding on how to line up my layers and folders. :3

don't know what you said but this looks awesome..........you use sai?.........I have it but......I don't like it...probably just have to get used to it.....but photoshop is for me has what I need and needs what I have

Personally I like SAI over photoshop, mind you i've only ever had photoshop elements with my tablet. Although you can use same ideas, photoshop has overlay layers too o3o

yeah....elements did suck......I had it too and that's why I moved to manga studio but then I got photoshop cc 2015 and it's just great!!!! but everyone should use what there comfortable with.....I mean it's the art that counts right...not the program

Mhm, I hate it when people treat others like less because of program. It's not like it makes that much of a difference, tools
