Description
Myotismon, or Vamdemon, from Digimon. This time in color. This picture was a pain to color but i think it came out great.
Colored with colored pencil. YES I like Digimon very much.

He was intimidating I'll give him that. Out of a lot of the Digimon villains I took him more seriously. He also killed Wizardmon. Which was rather new to the series. Most of the time digimon were saved not killed.

I hate it , other calls him" it" like a thing(and Mewtwo/Electabuzz too),
and take the definately manless from the three handsome POke/Digiman)
I call never a digiimon with "mon" in the name, cause they are not monsters,
instead of that, they are human(like Myotis-kun) or animals for me(same by Pokemon)

I was seven when I watched Digimon for the first time. So that's probably why he scared me.

i think i was that old, maybe. But he didn't seem scary, although, i liked scary things. that might be a factor.

Wow, very nicely done. I love the pencil work. How'd you manage to make the colors so smooth? Killing your wrist via applied pressure of lead-to-paper? Are the outlines of the picture just dark pencil or inked in? How'd you manage the shading in the cape? Did you use purple? Cause I think I see traces of purple.
((Myotismon is one of my favorite digimon, right alongside Matadormon and his evolution line and Dorumon and HIS evolution line))

Well the outline was drawn in pencil, just normal pencil. Then i had my friend scan it and make a copy of it. Then i took the copy and used my coloring pencils. I did not kill my hand by coloring too hard. My aunt showed me a way to use different colors, and get a very smooth look. And then i take the white colored pencil when i am finished, and i add a clear layer of white, Pressing with enough pressure. If you do it right, the white helps smooth out all the other colors and makes it more even. But be careful, once you apply white you cannot add anymore colors. White is like a seal and it doesn't let you add another shade on top of the others.
The cape was different shades of red. And the darker shadowed areas were prolly shaded with darker reds and a lavender pencil. (grayish purple)

all the armor drives me crazy. And I like Mana Beasts (the type of dragon magnadramon is.)
Mana beasts are born of all other monsters. and they protect the world during times of crisis. Its like the all the monster's of the world, its their last defense.

^^ I like dragons. And while it never states that Magnadramon is a manabeast. It looks just like manabeast dragons. (same wings, same face, same fur and belly, same body structure. Everything) So it might as well be one. I study different types of dragons. While the name and lore behind a mana beast might differ between which series use it. I still think they are incredibly cute and cool. Although magnadramon would be a small mana beast. They range anywhere from the size of a dog to the size of a castle.
