Description
A friend of mine inspired this by drawing some of her really hawt characters for me xDSo, since I love Sephiroth, I thought I'd make a hot pic of him.
I referenced the pose, but changed it a bit to fit my liking 
I'm pretty proud of this because I actually like the coloring for once, and I even added a background!

I'm still working on point commissions. They are in lineart/coloring process for most of them right now and shouldn't take too long to get up. ^^

I love the expression! It's as if he knows he's teasing his fan girls...or teasing a certain girl before him.
And I like the window. The drapes are drawn, so that the room is dark to some extent. Yet at the same time, there is enought light to where a person can see Sephiroth quite easily. Makes me think he has plans, and yet dosen't want anyone to see what going to happen.
But that's not going to stop him from going after what he wants. Whoever is looking at him isn't going to be leaving the room right away.

Positive aspects of the piece-
• Nice attempt at the drapes?
Negative aspects of the piece-
• Color. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but the color scheme does not sit well with me. The green in the eye stands out way too much; I suspect that might be the thing throwing off the gamut and throwing me off.
• Lines- Considering the lines as an integral part of the style, I think it'd be more effective if you varied the line weight much more. That way, things would stand out.
• Anatomy. Eyes DO NOT work as if they were glued over a few strands of hair, regardless of whatever style you claim it to be. It doesn't work that way and it does not look visually appealing. It also looks flat in the iris area- it needs shadow to define it as a round eyeball. The noes needs more definition- right now, it looks like a nub with no depth.
Personally, I don't care for the hair part- wouldn't that only work if you have an ungodly amount of hair gel anyhow? It needs more contrast/shadow to show depth, so it doesn't look so flat.
I'm not sure what's going on with the hand there, but something looks disjointed. Maybe looking up some real life references of hands would help with posing. The torso itself- the chest area looks a tad shrunken, and I'm fairly sure light and shadows don't fall on the body like that. It needs more contrast, especially if you're trying to bring out the figure's musculature.
• Lighting needs to have more attention paid to it. The window in the back implies that it is daytime outside, which would mean that the light would be streaming through there as a light source. On the figure, he seems to be lit mainly from where the viewer would be standing. In reality, the subject would look more like a silhouette in this kind of lighting situation.
Furthermore, the lighting portrayed here is much too harsh and washed out. Light isn't always white- all kinds of light (and their corresponding shadows) have warm and cool temperatures associated with the objects it interacts with.

Sitting on a velvet couch, the mighty General Sephiroth contemplates us with a teasing smirk to die for.
His relaxed posture, amazingly drawn anatomy and realistic pose are what imidiatly draw someone's attention to this amazing piece of artwork, wile the mesmerizing facial expression of our beloved, yet often missunderstood Sephiroth is bound to capture one's heart at first glance.
When I first saw this picture, I stood for about ten minutes contemplating it, lost in the magic and the irresistable attaction which this seductive figure has.
Becides the features above mentioned, I must say, that what impresses me more are his eyes and his hair, which appears so silky and so eterial at the same time that one can only wish to be able to cross the border between reality and fantasy only to touch it...becides it, his eyes, his mako-green eyes appear to be able too peek inside our very soul.

i wonder how He would look with short hair. I had a dream that my OC Shailax had cut Sephiroth's hair short, like about 3 inches from his shoulders and a whole bunch of girls screamed and I was pissed. So Shay apologized and gave him back his hair. Gosh he was still sexy. OMG!!! I wish i had this on the ceiling of my roooom!!!!
