Ah, now better, somewhat fleshed out reference sheet. I will note that the openings, mouths, and teeth doesn't have to be drawn the same as in the reference here. It changes a lot to what best suits the situation, teeth can grow longer or shorter, the openings don't have to follow the grooves on her body, though the grooves are just preemptive to prevent damage. The more intense she morphs her body, the more weak and vulnerable she is.
She is capable to make herself into a bloody, teethy, armed mess, it just isn't practical. I'll likely draw and post some body horror showcasing this at some point.

Sylvent is an escaped subject from a hidden research lab, used to being one of the researchers herself in her early thirties until she got infected with an alien parasite they were researching.
The parasite was transferred to her after an incident with her dog, which was infected with it before transferring, during an experiment to test the state of the mentality of the dog. The parasite knows the significance of Sylvent in the dog's life and used the original personality of the dog to lower the guard of the unsuspected researcher. Thus, attacking Sylvent and killing it's previous host body in the process through a complicated and gooey mess.

Slowly she becomes more and more of a shell of herself, having her body take physical changes. Her personality, memories, and emotions are still there, it's just that the parasite has taken full control over all of her functions and is in a constant hungered state, as previous host bodies were predatory animals and it kept those habits.

Because the parasite has come from many host bodies, and now an intelligent human body, it's VERY intelligent, knowing how to hide in a crowd as Sylvent by covering any visible grooves engraved in her skin. Being in probably the most intelligent species on Earth, there is no need for the parasite to move onto another host body unless in a dire situation, though highly unlikely in Sylvent's case. She is now to walk forever, murder, and eat in an unwilling and numb state.
