"Are you ready to see some real magic?"

For today's drawing I wanted to try a few things. First I wanted to do something a little more off balance than normal, the second was that I wanted to try some foreshortening. The overall pose experiments ended up looking like a magical girl pose so that's what I ended up going with. The outfit I want to say I kept relatively simple but I guess even a simple magical girl outfit has a fair number of frills and extra lines in the end. I think I probably could have pushed the off balance portion a little more though.

I tried to do some transparency on the skirt as something I'd seen in another anime, but I'm not sure how well it reads with my normal shading style. It's something to keep working on I guess.
