Description Queen Aphrodite The Beautiful was the final Queen of Venus before the fall of the Solar System. Her husband was Hephaestus, the Duke of Beta Regio. Aphrodite deemed her husband unworthy, and had many affairs. The most notorious being King Ares XXXV of Mars. Her daughter was Princess Harmonia, the last Sailor Venus.

EDIT: Changed her title from 'The Radiant' to 'The Beautiful', because I thought 'The Radiant' would fit another one of the Queens better.

Harmonia is the name I usually give Princess Venus in my headcanons too!! It just seems to fit Minako, doesn't it?

Talk about a coincidence! I also thought about giving her the name 'Psyche', after Eros's wife, but I thought it would be a bad idea if I gave that to a daughter of Aphrodite (Who hated Psyche).

LOL! 90% of the time I use Harmonia, but once or twice I've used Theia. Usually I actually have Aphrodite as Minako/Harmonia's grandmother.

My headcanon generally (I have a few variations) has Queen Serenity as the second queen of the Silver Millennium after her planet was destroyed by a pandemic; the first rulers (like Aphrodite of Venus) came with her as survivors or people who were immune. Fun stuff!

I've had the old Solar System Kingdoms go on for thousands of years. The Moon's official name was Theia, as that was name of the planet it once was (In my headcanon, similar to the actual theory of the Moon's creation) as well as the main Goddess of the Moon's major religion. Also, I had Queen Serenity's mother be a princess of Venus named Kharis, who was the sister of Aphrodite's mother.

I've had so much fun making SM headcanons!

Same!! lol. It is so much fun with the headcanons
I tend to stick with a lot of Greek names and the names for the planets' moons and stuff. I've actually had a few headcanons where the family lines were so intricately insane too.
One of my favorite headcanons I've done though is that an early Moon Queen lost her daughter and begged the Ginzuishou to grant her another (her husband was also dead). In exchange the family line was cursed that they would only produce one heir, always female, and that if the child wasn't produced with a mate by a certain age then the child would be created asexually.

I've also stuck with Greek/Roman names most of the time. The exception being Princess Mars' (Here named Enyo after a war goddess) mother Brigid, who was named after a Celtic Goddess. This helps show how different she was compared to the other Queens.

I imagine family lines among the Solar System Royalty would get pretty insane, too. Mostly because real life royalty was often like that (In WWI, most of the countries involved were ruled by relatives of other rulers).

True that. And I've also used Enyo for Mars!! We should compare notes!! lol

Why not?
Serenity is... Serenity.
Mercury is Athena.
Jupiter is Hebe.
Pluto is Atropos (One of the Fates)
Uranus is Atlas (Yeah, a male Titan, but in my SM story she was raised as a boy. Think of it as a play on the much despised (With good reason) 'Prince of Uranus' rumor from way back when)
Neptune is Eidyia (A Oceanus Nymph)
Saturn is Macaria (Daughter of Hades and Goddess of Blessed Death)
Bonus: Since my incarnation of Naru is also a Sailor Senshi of Lilith (In my SM story Earth's second Moon), she was Princess Oizys (Goddess of Misery. I tend to put characters through absolute Hell before they get their happy endings, and Naru is definitely no exception).

What are your's, if you don't mind me asking?

Awesome names and very nice with going into some lesser known names!
Serenity is, of course, Serenity. In one verse her full name was Serenity Selune. (Selune is a Moon Goddess from D&D)
Mercury is either Athena or Maia; lately I've been leaning more toward Maia.
Mars is Hestia or Enyo; lately I've been leaning more toward Enyo.
Jupiter is Elara.
Venus has always been Harmonia, save the one time I used the name Theia.
Saturn is Pandora.
Uranus is Cressida or Alecto; I've been leaning toward Alecto lately.
Neptune has always been Galatea.
Pluto has always been Melinoe.
Endymion's parents have gotten numerous names; my favorites are Morpheus and Ariadne.
A few times I've had a Sun Senshi OC and his name was Ion Coronis; his daughter/sister (depending on the version I used) was Asteria Solara.
I've also done Nehelenia's mother as being named Hecate.

Hecate is what I've used for Luna's mother, who was also Queen Serenity's adviser.

Galatea sounds beautiful for Neptune.

For the Queen of Earth I've got Terra, or sometimes Gaia. Haven't really got one for the king, though.

I've been writing my notes down lately for my SM retelling, so I'm very glad to have a discussion on headcanons (I've even come up with what the main language of the Solar System is: Celestian).

Nice
I used Eos and Thalia for the cats.
Yeah, I've had several different names for the Earth King & Queen: Morpheus, Endymion I, Dionysus, & Agamemnon; Ariadne, Ceres, Gaea, Demetria, Semele, & Elysia.
My preferred headcanon (most of them are variations of it) comes from the one manga line that says Queen Serenity came from a far away galaxy.

I really need to post all my headcanons (Though they're mostly for the 'Moon Soldier' universe) online.
Hm, I do like 'Dionysus' and 'Ariadne' as the names of royalty. Maybe not Terran Royalty, but I could totally see it.

I really like Dionysus and Ariadne as Terran royalty names, but that's the difference between two peoples' thought processes, lol!
I have a ton of headcanons, some of which are only the slightest bit different. And very few of them are Mamoru/Usagi pairings (though he is growing on me through SM Crystal).
One of my favorite headcanons actually has a Seiya/Usagi pairing where Mamoru/Endymion enters a political marriage with Princess Kakyuu. (I'm also a brat and like purified!Beryl/Mamo-Endy for whatever reason.)
