YAY YAY YAY!!! Our Kuroshitusji cosplays are done! We wore them to Acen, performed in the Masquerade, and came in 2nd runner-up in presentation and runner-up in group craftsmanship!

Thank you! ^^ For Drocell's jacket, I took a McCall's pattern (can't remember the number though) and modified it. Then I hand-sewed all of the details (i.e.the gold and red trims, buttons, etc) on.

I just looked it up and it was actually a Vogue pattern, not McCall's.

wow i love your costume!!! its reallly amazing um by the way i was wondering (cosim doin a drocell cosplay too) did you use real velvet? it looks like it and also how did you get the braiding at the front to work? does it come apart at the front too? sorry random questions it just your cosplay is the best ive seen!!!!!!

Thank you so much! ^_^ Yes, it is real velvet. My friend gave it to me after she bought it but had no use for it. The cording on the front is just a basic golden cord that I hand-stitch in place. At the middle, the cording is tucked in between the velvet and the lining and I have hook and eye tape to actual close the jacket. Rawr, I suck at explaining but I hope that helps. >.< Good luck!

xD I saw ur performance i remember mascquerade as packed! I was all like "WAA IM GETTING SQUISHDED >__o" and then this really really fat guy stepped on my foot.. T___T thats just what i need Getting attacked and having my back broken by a grell and some fat guy stepping on me xD
