Of course it is hard. That's where networking comes into play. I find it difficult myself to get viewers and watchers with my artwork so I try to find different ways to get attention either via groups or possibly networking with fellow deviants (which I haven't done much but any form of networking works)

Yep, but I do suck at networking through due to the way I grew up. :/ My Sailor Moon website used to be so popular without having me do anything at all (all it took was Google Search Engine). It was much better and easier back then before Facebook came along which kind splintered up the internet, adding much more workload than before. =_=

Yea things require a lot more effort nowadays so you have to take those extra steps which is a major pain.

I've noticed myself.
I've been in contact with some professionals to help me out with what to do for future career planning. I just hope it all pays off by the time I graduate and possibly get into grad school. I've heard and seen too much of college grads not getting jobs and suffering terribly. It's my darkest fear that I have to kill on a daily basis.

Accounting is pretty high in demand as well and they will always be needed. I'll have MIS or any other computer related field as backup if the worst happens to me.Β
Yeah social workers are definitely suffering.Β
Technology is just obliterating jobs and we aren't creating enough. That'll put some serious hurt on us for sure.
That I can handle. It's just my stupid GPA that's putting me behind other candidates (2.7 right now and I think it's going to drop lower to a 2.4 ><)

Mhmm
*sighs* Yes....God I just freakin HATE academics....it just keeps bringing back my troubled past with GPA (I was never good in school. Always had a low gpa, never got into the schools I wanted to go to...UGH! ><) ever since I was in 3rd grade. It's like no matter what I do to get better, it's just one step forward and two steps back X_X.

*sigh* T_TΒ But you have to endure and keep soldiering on just like what I did during my school years. Being deaf, it was much harder but I endured and kept going.Β In a way that is also the theme of my Pacificators story where a team of my characters would keep suffering from "a step foward and two steps back), but they endured on.
Are you a kind of guy who learn best from hands-on experience? I know I did far better with labs than lectures.

I know, I know. Just had to vent out some bad mojo. I am doing a lot better now than how I did last semester when I transferred but I just need to practice more deliberately and ensure my study habits are effective.
.....I think I am that kind of person. I remember when I started my secretary position this semester for my student organization, I had no idea what I was doing but I was able to get hands on experience with better note taking and networking with others.Β

I'll say X_X Last semester I was in pure chaos mode going "OMG! WHAT DO I DO?! THERE'S TOO MUCH AND GRADES ARE SLIPPING! ARRRGG!!! *kaboom*"Β
As of now it's like this: "Ok, I have this much to do this week, but I can do it...I just need to have confidence in myself and try my best"
The problems I had with school was poor study habits, procrastination (still is an issue but I'm fixing it with a new management system I found out about that's popular on the Internet and I have gotten so much done and felt my blood pressure drop [even though I don't have high blood pressure])
That I am aware of. I'm planning to get my first internship next summer (this summer idk since most of the positions are already taken so I could just do volunteer work that is similar to what I' currently doing or something else to build my networking). I just hope that my efforts pay off next year since I am desperate to get my foot in the door and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get me to where I wish to be.Β

That may be a bit too much. My limit is aboutΒ 5 to 6 courses per semester.
Interesting. There was a similar issue with Statistics for Scientists courses. only one course so only one professor for too many students. Crappy learning eniviroment. =_=

15 hours = 5 courses
I do fine when it comes to learning the material. It's just that I am a horrible test taker. My methods for studying for exams are not good (I do plan ahead for studying and all but everything I've tried has failed me)

No, no. I'm talking CREDIT HOURS not class hours. Class hours are at least 50 min - 1 hr 15 min depending on the day you have the class.Β

My pleasure~
But fudge...3 hour classes? XD You would have to be a total nutjob to come up with that. That's almost like summer school classes.

Those don't exist in MLP: FiM but, in G1 MLP (1980s) there were Sea Ponies in the pilot and I think in some of the other episodes. They would sing and were pretty cute XPΒ
And the races are actually Pegasi, Earth Ponies, Unicorns, and Alicorns (my species)
