Me: Sorry Akosmia but it is a solo project that I had to put a lot of brain power into (I just hope the colors come out right since I;m gonna do a lot of blending so it looks nice X_X)

Colors are tricky to work with since people have different tastes when it comes to colors. So go with the colors that seem natural to you.

yeah. I usually use 3 colors that are the same but darker for shading and stuff. the lineart and background is no problem (that's easy since i have a lineart tool for my mouse)

Yep, that'll work. I usually use 2 hues per color in casual drawings but more than 3 for more formal drawings (like those diagrams I just posted)
