Description I ended up posting this picture for few people who liked trains and to show that I have personally seen the same train engine used in Polar Express movie. The train passed thru my home town, Roscommon, Michigan few times on some kind of tour.

Now excuse me while I go back to my work. Train fans, enjoy the pics!

Indeed, and they do the same with cars, airplanes and boats also.  I'm not one of those kinds of people through...

Children sleeping, snow is softly falling
Dreams are calling like bells in the distance
We were dreamers not so long ago
But one by one we all had to grow up
When it seems the magic's slipped away
We find it all again on Christmas day

Believe in what your heart is saying
Hear the melody that's playing
There's no time to waste
There's so much to celebrate
Believe in what you feel inside
And give your dreams the wings to fly
You have everything you need
If you just believe

Trains move quickly to their journey's end
Destinations are where we begin again
Ships go sailing far across the sea
Trusting starlight to get where they need to be
When it seems that we have lost our way
We find ourselves again on Christmas day

Believe in what your heart is saying
Hear the melody that's playing
There's no time to waste
There's so much to celebrate
Believe in what you feel inside
And give your dreams the wings to fly
You have everything you need
If you just believe

Just believe

It's fine. I was born deaf and I couldn't distingish sounds. That's how I couldn't tell the difference between poems and songs.

But still, thank you. ^_^

Train 1225? I like trains (as transportation) and the old ones look awesome. I'd love to be in one of the carriages

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SailorEnergy In reply to kittyocean [2013-01-16 19:58:17 +0000 UTC]

Yes, 1940s engine. THey did sell tickets to ride the carriages pulled by 1225 engine. Right now, I found out that the train had some problems so has to be taken apart to replace bad parts.

SailorEnergy In reply to SailorMoonAndSonicX [2013-01-16 04:52:16 +0000 UTC]

Yes, I didn't know that until I found out later. It was lucky that I took pictures because it's so rare for an old engine to be active and pasing thru. You can see "1225" on it.

SailorMoonAndSonicX In reply to SailorEnergy [2013-01-16 04:54:15 +0000 UTC]

It's certainly not often that anyone would see something like this. I'm glad you actually got some shots of it while it came through your area. That would have been pretty cool to see.

I feel rumbling when general trains pass by. Wow, those wheels are huge! I've never known them to be that big.

SailorEnergy In reply to SailorMoonAndSonicX [2013-01-16 07:39:35 +0000 UTC]

yep. I just looked it up and found out that they had to park the train engine for maintiance. Apparently, they found some badly rusted parts that needs to be replaced.
