My first screenshot redraw!! I wanted to simulate the 90s anime style. How do you like it?This scene is from Act. 10 - Moon of Sailor Moon Crystal

I want to add that this isn't pitting SM Crystal against SM Classic, even though the title says "vs". I love both adaptations, and I just wanted to see a Crystal scene in the Classic style

Definitely prefer the SM Classic version of this pic. This is such a beautiful work! I absolutely love it! The first anime is my early childhood memories too and I still stick with it to this say.

Okay, I'm not gonna lie; I had absolutely NO idea whatsoever that Sailor Moon got a reboot, until recently. I mean, the only SM I've ever known was the classic original. It was one of my earliest anime experiences.

Both styles make me question ho the brooch is hanging there without dragging the shirt down, but I do prefer the richness of colour of the 90s version. Fantastic job! Don't suppose you worked on the original show?

Wow your style of the 90s anime looks exactly the way it looks for real, only yours has better quality. The hands are so good! I personally like your better than the Crystal one. The old style seems better and cuter. ^^ Great job.

Aw thanks, I had a few references of the 90s anime up while I was working on her. One from SuperS and the other was the cover to the S movie, Hearts In Ice.Β
Yeah, the colors in Crystal aren't that vibrant, especially in this particular scene. I took all the blue hues out, since the 90s anime didn't use blue shadows for nighttime (at least not in the scenes I was looking at).
I really loved this scene in Crystal a lot, especially that weird thing Luna did before they transformed! lol
