Illustration to Kivan and Aurora's (charname's) parting, inspired by one talk from Domi's mod.

It's set in the end of Baldur's Gate(game). Aurora's watching Kivan leaving for Shilmista. She's bitter, because she thinks that she'll never see him again...
And Imoen, the Pink Thief, who caught her up and keeps Aurora company. Aurora has her 'first BG' appearance, which she had to change after events in SoA. Yeah, from the beginning of SoA. That's how I explain why Imoen and Jaheira look different in BG and BG2.
I also planned to add Xan's face, but... he was distant to Aurora, after he's learnt about her heritage. And Kivan still sees Aurora as his friend.
Btw. they are facing eastern gate of Baldur's Gate.

Okay, I cursed this picture several times, because it was incredibly difficult to draw >___<' Backgrounds on their own are challenging, but there were so many other things.. (crowd, small people, Imoen's pose, buildings).
Gotta love Picassa 3. Thanks to few effects it looks more like a sun setting :3

But still, it was nice to draw. I'm kind of proud of the sky and Kivan's face.
