Awwww, poor Harley. I sometimes think that romance just doesn't interest Joker, except maybe the control it can give over others. Ultimately I think that both Joker and Ivy manipulate Harley's emotions, indeed moulding her identity from what I can imagine was once a very intellectual woman.
But hey, we got her in that cute costume so I'm not complaining.

I too think Harley is letting her fangirl feelings get in the way of her ability to think independently. However, her crazy fangirl personality is why I find her so fun.

He cares and all, it's just that he's a bit emotionally unbalanced. He has his snaps of rage, along with ones of joy, passion,and on the very rare occasion sadness. When these snaps hit, she's the only one who stays close. Everyone else clears the room, so she ends up the target of his expression. He feels bad about it, that's obvious if you read any of the comics that have him go off on her. He always starts to regret it almost immediately, and then he apologizes in his own way, she forgives him, and they go on to do it again.

Oh okay! I have to read more of the comics with them both in it. I remember from shows and movies from when I was little how The Joker would act emotionally. I could see the whole snap thing going on, but I agree that he does truly care for her but just expresses it in his own little ways. Either way, I enjoy their bad romance.
