              Oh, no. I did something silly.... xD So does anyone know of this image that leaked a couple of years ago of some old concept art? twitter.com/SailorSonicX/statu… Some people speculated that it was old concept of what could be Sonic's parents. They honestly remind me an awful lot of Jules and Bernadette from the Archie comics. Here two years later, I just got sudden inspiration to draw up "modernized" versions of them as Sonic's parents just for the heck of it.

              Looks like the the pop was a worker of some kind 'cause he's all scuffed up. I remembered how some people like to imagine that Sonic's dad was a pilot and originally owned the Tornado (inspired by the supposed story one of Sonic's creators told of his origin of creation about a woman whose husband who was a pilot in the early-mid 1900's). Since Sonic originally owned the plane before he handed it over Tails, it's a fun idea to think of where he might've gotten it from. I'd also like to imagine that maybe Sonic's dad was a pilot, and that's how Sonic ended up with the Tornado before he let Tails take ownership of it--Sonic was given the Tornado by his dad. TvT I got carried away and did a silly little comic about it with the design I did of his dad based on that old leaked concept. xD It was my first time drawing a plane, and it wasn't easy. xD;

              ...I...ended up drawing farmland in the first panel because the Tornado got me to thinking about bi-planes and where they originated from. xD THE REASONING BEING that the state of Ohio is considered the "birthplace of aviation", and is where the Wright Brothers, who built and flew the first powered plane in 1903, originally came from. There's also a lot of farmland in Ohio--these two things can actually be seen in the illustrations on license plates for Ohio. A bi-plane in the sky over farmland, with the city scape just in the distance. A mixture of both. So that's where the farmland look came from. But I doubt Sonic lived on a farm since they say he's from Christmas Island or South Island. x'D I suppose he could have lived AROUND it, though. Doesn't matter--it was just something random and cute for fun.
