Character backstory (as written by the original artist)

Story set up:
One night Usagi-chan was dreaming of being with Mamoru and then all of the sudden there was a girl that looked just like Usagi who told Usagi that Mamoru was no longer going to be hers. Waking up in a cold sweat and crying Usagi-chan tried to calm herself down and go back to sleep but she could not. So she left the room and went downstairs as she did not want to wake Mamoru. After she had calmed down she went to get a drink of water and then when back upstair to the bathroom to splash water on her face and that girl was staring at her in the mirror. She screamed so loudly and knocked over a bunch of stuff on the counter that Mamoru came running in to see what was wrong. Crying heavily she tired to explain her dream to Mamoru and he told her not to worry becuase she was his wife and that they would always be together. For some reason the dream made her remember the last fight with Galaxia and how before Usagi-chan was able to free Galaxia from Chaos' grip Chaos hit Usagi with a termendous blot of black lighting that should have killed her but did not. Weeks went by and Usagi-chan had forgotten about the dream and the strange girl in the mirror that looked almost exactly liker her but then one day when at school (Usagi-chan, Minako, Ami, Raye, and Makoto all go to the same University) she heard other students talking about Sailor Moon had returned. Confused she called a meeting with the other senshi the next day. Even though it was unexpected call during the night to the other senshi it was nothing strange becuase all the senshi had grown to respect Usagi-chan even more since she matured so dramatically in high school and truely became their leader. Usagi-chan was telling Minako, Ami, Raye, and Makoto about hearing some other students talk about Sailor Moon returning but the other girls had not heard anything. Just as Ami and Mamoru were searching the internet for any news on Sailor Moon's lastest appearances, Chibi-Usa (now going by Usagi since she is now in high school) and Hotaru walk in becuase they always come unannouced to Usagi-chan's home. Chibi-Usa was telling Hotaru how she had heard from Helios recently and that he was coming to visit soon. Chibi-Usa started to tell the other senshi but stopped in mid sentance when she saw the looks on their faces. Usagi-chan explained her dream and what she has heard from other students to Chibi-Usa and Hotaru. After Usagi-chan finished explaining Chibi-Usa was about to make a sarcastic remark to Usagi when the phone rang. I was Haruka asking if she and Michur could come over and talk about what Michur saw in her mirror the other day. Usagi-chan told them to come over and when they walked in the door Michur was laughing and Haruka had this annoyed look on her face. When Usagi-chan asked what was so funny Haruka said "Now I know why the others did not answer the phone", to which Michur said "I told Haruka that all of you would probably be together and had turned your phones off". Michur explained that Usagi-chan was not lossing her mind and that the Sailor Moon that had been appearing recently was not her but was Dark Moon. Everyone started at Haruka and Michur waiting for an explantion. Michur said last night she saw ten dark figures in her mirror that looked like the Sailor Senshi but it was not them becuase their aura did not feel right. Haruka said that the only explanation is that the Dark Senshi have finally shown themselves after being supressed for so long. All the senshi have a dark part of them inside themselves that have been supressed long ago, even from their memories. Each senshi has a dark part of her that is hardly ever seen. Think of the Dark Senshi as two people in one body such as Cyrine and Pitol of the Witches 5.

Dark Moon
Dark Moon first appeared when Usagi-chan was Princess Serenity of the Moon Kingdom. One day Serenity was talking far from her mother's kingdom and wondred in to Neherenia's kingdom into a forest where she found what looked like a moonstone only it was glowing black. When Serenity picked up the stone her eyes clouded over and she heard a familiar voice say "Your time to rule shall never come for your time shall become my time to rule". Serenity threw the stone down and ran back to the palace where she told her mother what she had heard. Queen Serenity remembering what had happened to Pluto many many years ago made her wonder if her daughter also had a dark side to her. One night when Princess Serenity was sleep Queen Serenity went to Sailor Pluto and asked if she could look at Serenity's soul with her Garnet Rod. Something went wrong when Sailor Pluto tired to look at Princess Serenity's soul while she was sleeping yet no one knew there was a problem. There was a flash of dark yellow light after Sailor Pluto and Queen Serenity left Princess Serenity's room. Sailor Pluto went back to the time gate and Queen Serenity went to her chamber to sleep. The next morning Princess Serenity woke up, got dressed and when to visit her friends. Princess Mercury, Princess Mars, Princess Jupiter and Princess Venus were glad to see their friend and Princesses were well becuase not only are they the princess' of their respective planets but they are also the Sailor Senshi of the planet sworn to protect the Moon Kingdom. Later they see Serenity and are worried about her becuase her dress is black and her beautiful blonde hair is tipped black. Out of no where Sailor Uranus comes chargings at her with her Space Sword unshethed and Princess Mars pushes Serenity out of the way while Princess Jupiter as Uranus what the hell does she think she is doing. Falling to her knees Sailor Uranus turns back into Princess Uranus and says that the person standing in front of them was not Princess Serenity. Sailor Pluto told Princess Uranus that she had used her Garnet Rod to look at Princess Serenity's soul while she was sleeping by order of the Queen and at the time she thought everything was okay but it turns out that the Princess does have a dark side which some how has been shoved to the surface of her conciousness. Since Sailor Pluto was not allowed to leave her post she ask Princess Uranus to go save Princess Serenity. Princess Uranus asked Princess Neptune if she could locate the other Princess Serenity with her Aqua Mirror. A few nights later after much searching Princess Neptune found the other Serenity in Princess Serenity's bed chamber standing over the sleeping Princess with a crystal dagger in her hand. Princess Serenity has never been a peaceful sleeper (why do you think Usagi-chan was lady like when she slept ^_^) and rolled off the bed when Dark Moon was bringing the dagger down. Not wanting to be seen she ran out of the princess' bed chamber and right into the arms of a waiting Sailor Uranus. That same night Queen Serenity called her daughter and all of the senshi together including Sailor Pluto and Sailor Saturn to the thorne room. They told Princess Serenity about the situation and Saturn suggested that some how the black moonstone raised this other dark Serenity to the surface of her unconciousness and when Sailor Pluto was looking at her soul must have made a gateway for the dark Serenity to come into their world. Princess Serenity not wanting to believe that she had a dark side becuase she hated no one said that Pluto and Saturn were lying so Uranus brought out the other Serenity who was bound so she could not try to hurt Princess Serenity. Understanding now she asked her mother for help and with the help of Queen Serenity and the other senshi she sealed the dark Princess Serenity deep inside herself. After this was done all the senshi and Princess Serenity was unconcious on the throne room floor and Queen Serenity was weak she used her last bit a strenght to supress the minds of the senshi and her daughter just like Sailor Pluto before so that they would have no memory of the Dark Princess Serenity. Dark Moon is Usagi-chan but she is not the side of Usagi-chan normally shown to everyone. Dark Moon more powerful than Usagi-chan but it is a power that Usagi-chan can't control. Dark Moon has no need for the wands that Sailor Moon uses in battle becuase she can create yellow sphere of energy of any size. When Dark Moon appears you know that all hell is going to break loose. Although Dark Moon is more powerful than Sailor Moon and yes that means even more powerful than Eternal Sailor Moon that does not mean that she is the most powerful of the Dark Senshi. Dark Moon has always dislike Usagi-chan becuase she was always loved and was always the one who dominated the body. Dark Moon has a power far greater than Sailor Moon and bring the future Crystal Tokyo under her rule with the other Dark Senshi at her side. Dark Moon's power comes from the side of the moon that has never seen the light of the sun yet her attacks are yellow glowing orbs of light. The more intense Dark Moon's attacks are the darker yellow the color of the orbs become. When Dark Moon attacks she can make the orbs any size she wants ranging from the size of golf balls to the size of the planet shaped spheres in Uranus' and Neptune's attacks.

Dark Moon's attacks:
Dark Moon Shower (weakest attack): Yellow orbs which she can from as many as she wants at one time.
Dark Moon Eclipse (strongest attack): Resembles Uranus' World Shaking attack but the orb is a very deep yellow almost black in color. When the orb is thrown at an enemy first a yellow orb of the same size encompasses the enemy and then the second orb eclipses the first orb. Everything is about this attack looks like Uranus' World Shaking except when watching the attack looks like World Shaking done twice but Dark Moon only throws one orb the first purely yellow orb shoots out while the darker orb is forming.
