Description
As the official lurker of Kotka's streaming, I recently saw her pixelling some adorable icons and I have been inspired to give it a try too. So here I present you my first attempt at pixelling (well, second, actually, the one I started before this one is still a wip), featuring one of my oldest senshi, the young Sailor Sunrise. And all thanks to wandering-kotka 's marvelous icon base !Base - wandering-kotka

She came out so cute! You did a great job on the soft curls in her hair and the starry background is a nice match for her.

Thank you, K! I was quite scared I was going to mess up the curls, to be fair, but they almost seemed more doable than straight hair! For the background, I decided to go for something simple and this was what came to my mind first, since, according to my plans, she loves astronomy. And it matches her eyes pretty well too! I really did have lots of fun, definitely didn't feel heavy like sometimes drawing does!

I know exactly the feeling you mean! When I want to make something but don't feel up to a big piece, pixelling is a nice compromise. It's like a snack, almost!
