A scene from "Family"? Either way, it's beautiful. Something about Yakko's expression is very poignant.

He's thinking about what's he's going to get for them the next day. If you notice, he's not eating. So sacrificing....

*sobs* Ah, the sacrificial elder sibling. I don't think I have any particular skills that would make me the breadwinner, even though I *am* eldest.
And my apologies for interpreting the expressions incorrectly.

If you know about eating bread at a table all the time, you could see the Canadian stage play "The Drawer Boy".

Great choices! I've noticed that A LOT of people love Darkwing Duck. I have never really seen any episodes though...

Yes, we have quite a large Darkwing Duck fan art community on deviantART. He is quite cute, is a great father, has an ego the size of a small planet, and he is a good crimefighter--but he all too often lets his ego get in the way of clear and cognitive thinking which leads him to fail. Then he gets so depressed, and it's up to Gosalyn and Launchpad to boost his spirits again. Once he gets rid of all the distractions and actually focuses on the case at hand, he really becomes quite a competent crime fighter.

She's a pretty good artist! When her grandson was born, she drew and painted Buster Bunny, Babs Bunny, Plucky, Darkwing Duck, Negaduck, and the Warner Sibs on the walls of his bedroom. That was about 10 years ago.
Yep, she is 70 and still loves toons!! There are people in my office, who are in their 30's and 40's who are also obsessed with toons--my one coworker Johnny loves Hanna Barbara as well as Darkwing cartoons, my cubemate is obsessed with Negaduck, and my other coworker-we call Steelbeak is obsessed with that vain rooster from the Darkwing Duck series
You're never too old to enjoy and identify with cartoon characters

It's great to work with people who also love toons! In the school where I used to work, I still have a FEMALE friend who loves Dragonball Z! We hit it off right away. Unfortunately, a lot of people around me think that instead of toons, I should watch Lifetime or stuff like that....oh....they think I'm weird...oh....WHO CARES!!!!! It used to bother me, but it doesn't anymore. Your cousin is a Cool 70 year old. I hope to still draw toons when I get her age!

Oh, I agree with ya! It really makes for a fun and relaxed atmosphere. But, like you say there are some people in my extended family (mainly my uncle and even future brother in law) who feel that I should be spending time watching the news and listening to political talk shows, instead of watching The Warner Sibs and Darkwing Duck. Well, I see how happy I am, always walking around with a smile on me face, and I see how miserable and aggravated they are! Always walking around with such doom and gloom!
But remember this, you must do what makes YOU happy and ya don't ever need anyone's approval! So let them have their Lifetime and Ed O'Reilly (or whatever his name is), we have Yakko, Wakko, Dot, and Darkwing Duck! I'm am happy to hear that people like that no longer bother ya, because it shouldn't!
My Cousin Marie also is like us, she loves to escape to the fun world of cartoons because they make her laugh and enjoy life!!! Isn't that what it's all about! Enjoying life?!
Keep up the GREAT ARTWORK!!!
