Description
I needed something to draw to keep myself awake today (thanks to some very loud goings-on a few doors down from our house at 3 am last night leaving me with almost no sleep) so I decided to draw Dexter for a change. Even though I really enjoy drawing the Kids Next Door, Dexter has long been a kindred spirit for me, and it's only gotten stronger after reading 's stories. The phobias, the social awkwardness, the inability to get along with one specific parent, the irregular sleeping schedule. Yup. Not to mention the fact that I stopped growing at 4'11" and wear glasses.

And as much as I love the more dramatic stories with Dexter, sometimes it's nice to have a bit of fun down-time. So, I decided to draw a picture of him, Ben and Dex's ragdoll cat Einstein. It was sort of inspired by the fanfic Kewel Off but isn't designed to take place at any specific time. It's just a cute picture.
