So yeah, I'm a bit of a Pokémon fan. Not by much, as I haven't been keeping up to date with any generations beyond Diamond and Pearl, and the only game I ever played was Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky, and that was only because it had the very pokemon that pulled me into this series at all; Vulpix.

One thing that's been bothering me lately is that Vulpix is a girl's only playable character in said game. It is pretty understandable, as this little fox has always looked pretty feminine to me. And that could bring up some serious gender confusion. So eventually I had decided to design a more masculine version of this fire fox, as I've noticed there are a few pokemon that have different looks depending on the gender. Pikachu's got the tail thing, the Nidorans have different color scheme, and some other examples I can't seem to remember.

There isn't that much of a difference in the end, other than the lack of "hairbuns" and tail curls, and being slightly bigger than the females.

The middle picture is just kind of loosely based off of my current exploration team, Team Starfall, where I genderbended my hero. I haven't thought of a name for him yet...

And the last one is just for shits and giggles, and to also show what a shiny male Vulpix looks like.
