Woah, sorry I haven't been very active here since summer started. Maybe home is a worse workstation than I thought it would be. I've just been mentally drifiting off so much that I didn't have much direction with my drawing. The best way to be productive without inspiration is to be self-centered about it. So I drew my closet.

Well, I guess I am becoming kinda proud of it, actually. After four years of high school wearing nothing but polos and black pants you do have a tendency to get excited about fashion variety. Plus I actually need to buy nice clothes as a teacher candidate. I'm young and am often confused for being younger (it's dem Asian genes), so I need to have a good collection of professional clothes so I don't get confused for a student (I'm going into seconday ed btw, if you haven't figured that out yet). But of course when shopping it's not like I'm going to own only fancy clothes either, and I've got a pretty electic style, so lots of other things get in there too. If anything, I've been making an effort to look like a teacher but still wearing more fun clothes at the same time. I've figured out how to make fandom t-shirts look business-y (maybe not high-end CEO business of course, but you get the point), so I'm going to be the most stylish loser teacher trash ever. I've already worn a few of these to classroom observations. WHO SAYS YOU CAN'T BE PROFESSIONAL AND PUNK/KAWAII/GEEKY/COMFORTABLE/VINTAGE (all simultaneously)!?
I will find a way to make it work by the time I start student teaching!
But when I'm away from teenagers who refer to me by my last name my closet is free game.

This is also a nice change of pace to draw in this style. I've never actually done lineless art before, but I really love how it turned out. I'll probably do more of these in the future.

And yes, my hair does reach past my waist.
