I love the blurred outline, as well. Gives this a nice, watercolor feel. Andreas Deja, an ex-Disney animator, is using this visual style in his short film "Mushka." Check it out!

It can be a good idea to create a magical girl influenced tv show called The Chronicles of KISS. Basically, it's sort of like KISS meets with tokusatsu elements like Power Rangers (also called Super Sentai in Japan.), and also have some magical girl elements like a mentor mascot for example. I really want this show incorpate influence from other show like Jem and the Holograms and Buffy: The Vampire Slayer.
