on 8/08/06 four penguins diedin a car accident
in my town.
i love penguins.
and that day i felt helpless.
i couldnt have done anything.
all i can say is im glad so many survived. the octopus, the fish, the
rest of the penguins.

thank you, and the sadness is because this picture is in honor of four penguins that died in a car accident in my town when they were on their way to their new home at the local aquarium. it was very sad and i wanted to make something in memory of them

hmm, the article must have expired or been moved, the story was
basically- a driver reached down for a map she dropped
and she turned the truck over, 4 penguins got out and were hit by
oncoming traffic that couldnt avoid them, although there is good
news- 23 penguins survived as well as some of the fish and the
octopus. hope that helps to explain it more, sorry the link was broken.

although the effect is probably a billion times easier
in illustrator. its a very sad story- tried to make a link to
it but it didnt work 
zoo and the driver crashed the car, 4 penguins and tons
of tropical fish got killed)
