Jaghatai Khan, Son of the Emperor of Mankind, Primarch of the White Scars space marines legion.---------------------------------
Greetings friends and followers.
So its finally done. It took me more time than any of the other Primarchs' illustrations I did. Probably for a lack in composition planning at the start. I changed a LOT in the pose and perspective... >_<
My original plan was to have some space marines in the background, but that didnt work out well. So I decided to go with this one.. not sure it it fits right, but I do like the colors.

Awsome that the khan is finally getting some love. I love the armor... only critique would be his legs look a little slender for a fully armoured primarch, but i digress. Excellant!!!

Gauntness yes compared to the upper body armor and shoulders, but not short, they may just seem so coz of the shoulders.

It's a beautiful piece, but if you don't mind me saying, the original pose in the sketch was better. THere was more of an overpowering sense to that pose, whereas this one leaves his legs looking somewhat understrength. The colours are vibrant, and ... definitely a surprise, considering that his legion is usually all in white. Not that "a surprise" is bad, mind you. Art should broaden the way we think of things once in a while.

Yeah the original sketch is stronger in the pose. It is just went into this direction once I changed the perspective >_< but yeah I learned a couple of things from this piece. I add all the colors at the end... hmmmm yeah I felt that the image is kinda dead and needed some colors.
