i drew brainy giving Kara her first flight ring.I was watching Far far from home (AGAIN) i absolutely adore how Kara acts with brainy
when he gives her his ring and said "does this mean we are going steady?" his reaction was sooo adorable, so old school. (back when brainiac 5 that has no idea how to act around the Maid of might..he never did learn) his reaction when she kissed him was perfect, just completely Focused on 'Super girl just Kissed me.' rather than the fact it was him her and a guy with a bow and arrow to fight both the fatal five and the legion of superheroes. classic Legion stuff.
i like to think she's making that same joke here
i did this mostly at work today...after i did a sort of bad thing

That was an awesome episode. I wish we had seen John Stewart and Ollie try to explain to Clark who Kara had stayed for. Clark would laugh on the inside.
I admit it, the best part for me about Legion of Three Worlds was that panel where the Time Trapper says "Supergirl". It would have been so easy to stick her back in continuity! Just have her follow the founders back and someone could cook up an improbable scheme to keep the timeline safe.

i have a thousand and one ways to bring her back in to continuity myself, however they insist on shoving the new one down our throats

It is for that reason that I refuse to believe that this Legion is really the Classic Legion. If it was the Classic Legion, the authors or editors or whoever wouldn't keep trying to shoehorn the new Supergirl into continuity and completely forget that that Legion had a contiunity completely removed from the present-day DCU.

well to be fair, when they killed her off a long time ago the same writers tried to write her in and it was the all mighty editors who said no. and i think that is the same thing here, i think a lot of people would like to see her back but realistically they are trying to keep her gone cause i don't think the higher ups want three version of super girl walking around(power girl, sliver age kara, and the new one)and they want to do everything they can to make the new one work. for reason really unknown to any one but them (cause i LOVE B5/super girl, and i find it very creepy a +25 year old man is lusting after a teenager, i rather the romance stay dead then ever. ever.EVER. ever. have them bring it back now with the age gaps, i get that clouans have long life spans and he is likely 15 in coluan terms but he looks like he is pushing +35 and he's supposed to be around 25ish i think)
i agree that is is not the old legion right now, hopefully Paul levitz can write it to being the old team. if not i see it as the forth version of the legion

Editors have a tendency to ruin everything. I though editors were just supposed to spellcheck! And make sure the punctuation is in the right place. When did it become that comicbook editors=comicbook universe gods?
And why would anyone let that happen?

i dont think all editors are bad, just the way the company is run needs some work, the company wants to make money and the way they see that now is to sell crossover event after Crossover event and yeah they make a bundle so they focus on that. they worry about epic events and the next few coming they don't care about smaller issues , and with every book always crossing into the next they company wants editors focus on trying to keep the storys straight over the wrting in the books and making sure all art work is consistent. and you have to factor in people who get pissy over things like what charters they like/dont like and want to use/dont use, who has problems with what artist.

Comics should lay off crossovers for awhile. Especially DC. It seems all I ever hear about from them (besides anything Legion-related) is some sort of crossover event. Let characters have their own stories for a few years so no one needs to get all confused over why Green Lantern guys are in Batman. You'd think it would be easier for people to pick up books, like DC seems to be trying to aim for, if they only needed to know a little bit about the characters.
Like "So-and-so had this origin and they're fighting this villian right now because they did this" not "So-and-so and this other person I've never seen before are fighting some other person who I thought was over in that book and I can't even figure out why any of these people are even in the same part of the country".

i agree, i really feel every one need to lay off the crossovers but the people keep buying them so they keep making them
i dont mind cameos, such as superboy showing up in red robin cause the two of them are friends and yeah they would hang out out side of saving the day, those are okay. same with the Barry and hal, they are friends they would go visit one anther. but i am so lost do to every crossover that happen in the last year that i stick to three books. legion. flash. and rebels for some reason,(i keep hoping its going to get better....and it has yet to but i'm still holding out)

Yeah, cameos are perfectly fine, and they add some excitment to searching the backgrounds. The only thing I get from DC is Legion, trade paperbacks, and whatever I find in the $1 bins.

i love when brainy activity admits that she makes him dumb, one of my all time favorite moments in the legion is when he tell her he has finally gotten over her..and she said "and her i was thinking how cute you looked." she flys off and he walks away mumbling how he needs to work on his timing.
that last page is so damn sad because that was the end of their relationship, and he didn't really get a chance to save it, because he has problems talking with her when he is put on the spot..he looks so broken (epically since he knows she's not long for this world, it so very sad)

No, actually, they aren't dicks. Apparently, Post Zero Hour Brainy wasn't just an experiment to his mother, but to the Coluan council. They designed Mommy, but she disobeyed their orders and left, and so they made sure Brainy would benefit them even more. They freaked out when he rebelled and RJ BRANDE got a hold of Querl and put him in the institute to get him out of the Council's clutches.
The Brainiac from Threeboot was actually a happy little boy as a child, but something happened involving him and (once again) the Coluan council and he went through some program and became Brainiac 5, but he did something to displease the council (probably showed refusal to act out their commands with his emotions and that scared them) and they booted him off.
Basically, it is Colu pissed off that they were Brainiac 1.0's tools and they decided to turn their rage into beating on the Brainiac clan.
I feel so bad for them Brainys. They didn't have a choice in anything all because they are Doxs
And if you mean the kiss where it is Linda Danvers (that was her) kissing him to get him to help her, then that was made NULL

brainiac 4 from reboot got her intelligence from Stealth, Stealth's her genetics make it so the 12 level brain passed on his family line. her lack of attachment came from he deal dox made with the devil. Brainy was raised in isolation -which accounts for brainy's lack of social grace,the reason he was not liked on clou was because he like to 'do' science , and after a bad experience clou stooped doing applied science and he scared the crap of them so they made it go to Rj.
okay want to know where you got the info on three boot brainy cause that was not what happened (at least from what i gathered) - it was very vauge but they hinted at it a quite a bit, people on Clou thought he was dumb. and that made him nothing in the eyes of every one on clou-that's why he constantly needs to let every one know how smart he was. it helped validate himself in a way. my guess they abused badly on some level because, why else would some one imply he shouldn't care what happens to the rest of the planet.
as for what got him kicked off Clou i dont know for sure but my guess what freeing all of Atom girls people.
look i am not saying that he didn't have problems, and you shouldn't feel bad for him. just you cant deny he's a jerk most of the time..i adore sweet brainy, But cranky brainy makes me laugh

Also, Stealth is reappearing as a Black Lantern in REBEBLS Blackest Night mini. She, apparently died, and we get to see if Vril II made anything of himself with her before she died. And me want to know about Lryl! The little brat was a harridan in REBELS earlier when he took over the corps, but after, daaaaw, he was the cutests thing, and Vril actually exacted Daddy vibes.

well the first time he held his son was the first real moment he had a dad feeling.. he knew if he was not a caring enough person to raise the child, and if took the child from stealth he would be as bad his father raising the baby

Do you have the scan of that moment Vril held Lyrl for the first time? I'd love to see it and the comic stores around where I live don't have any L.E.G.I.O.N. in the back issues. And dumb DC didn't make them in trade.
And threeboot Brainy is whipped, and you know it. He and Nura would eventually make a baby, and its a girl, and both the daughter and Nura will have the green guy wrapped around their fingers.
I always thought that if Brainy should ever marry and have a kid, that he would have lots of daughters. He'd be the overprotective "I will recolor your quarks if you so much as innapropriately touch my little girl" kind of daddy.
I already wrote some Nura and Brainy with their baby I designed--Xalisen. I wrote one part where she uses the "Querl Dox" patented glare on him and he's like "my own glare used against me by a four year old..."

i have that issue of L.E.G.I.O.N. 50 i think is the time he actually got a chance to meet the baby, it was kind of a fun issue they stealth was kidnapped and 'killed' along with the baby and very one blames Virl and Virl is like 'if you all had told me where my child was instead of hiding him from me than this would have never happened' things happen and they get to point were stealth and 90% of the core team are trying to get the baby first, but dox gets it using the telaporter he has with him, and he said some thing along the lines 'haha i the baby is mine to what ever i want' then he has a flash of brainiac 1 saying something similar, something the durlan said, and something stealth said he looks at the baby and turns to stealth and said something like. 'he needs his mother too.' than he dosent touch the kid for like 20 issues after that.(im not at my house right now when i go home i'll do it)
that would be one frustrated dad if the baby got mommys powers 'honey what did i tell you cause THEN effect.'
in my imagination, i cant picture the reboot or threebot having kids yet (they strike me as too young)but i can picture how he would be with his and super girl's kid. i see him inventing a way to temporally take her powers away when she misbehaves. i see him taking all the guys she brings home aside and out of earshot and saying 'you know i have almost destroyed the universe once when i was mildly displeased with my friends, now what am i going to do you, if my little girl comes back not a virgin and/or the slightest bit not happy?' i see him not caring what she wears as a supper hero because she is always around legionnaire and they have a way of making her look unapproachable

People forget that Brainy's past is CRAP! He pretty much was royalty/intentured servant to Colu. They counted on him to give them power and they also despised him because they couldn't do it themselves. In fact, I have a cute little pic of baby-Brainy being told the tale of Superman. Such a smug little tot!

i like to picture brainy giving her the ring in a sweet way he was always so taken with her it just seamed the way he'd go about giving her the flight ring
i love that episode so much, and not just cause they had the legion. i loved that super girl from the superman and jlu cartoon they did a fantastic job with her, i loved her and i usually hate female charters (most of the time they are done so bad) but that Kara showcased what i liked about silver age super girl sure she had all of superman's powers but she used her brain not her brawn
