Some time after the slaughter of the keeper of the South Gate- the Lord of the Skies, a human entered the spiritual plane seeking to harness spiritual power to save a loved one with a terminal condition. Their aircraft (5-A1NT) crashed, and they were subsequently overtaken by the Tide, undergoing a transformation into a spirit that would come to consciousness two hundred years later and come to be known as Saint- the nascent keeper of the South Gate.

She turned to the fragments of her human memories and sought out humanity, only to be manipulated into being used as a weapon. Eventually, came a time where she would come to terms with her state of being and desert, embarking upon a journey to find her role and place.
