I have quite lovingly followed the work of here on DA and their approach to Sans and Papyrus and Gaster. Now I personally don't really view Gaster as that bad a guy because after all, Toby himself has said that both Alphys and Sans evidently tried their best efforts to fix the time machine he evidently fell into and both failed. And they wouldn't have tried to get back someone who was a JERK...

Then again, the Riverperson does say to beware the Man Who Speaks in Hands, so I THINK the implication is that W.D Gaster used to be nice...but being split up into pieces has made him someone dangerous. Still, I really enjoy Zarla's work and decided to do a sort of homage to how she draws Gaster and Sans, when Sans is still an experiment in Gaster's lab. But I added my own little touch to show a bit more...lighthearted moment. With some deliberate symbolism snuck in.
