Description

"Lo siento."

I'm not overexaggerating when I say that I think I've just revolutionized my Overwatch renders.

Okay, so you know how Raycast material files never really mesh well with Overwatch models? Well, that's because the game models have their own specific mapping files (for shadows, metals, etc.) that correspond with the base textures. Well, for the longest time I've been searching to find some of them... but it was today that everything changed, as I simultaneously found a reliable source for these files and also figured out how to set them up in custom .fx files for Raycast to use. Boom -- now the models really do look like they're supposed to, with their proper shadow maps, metallic highlights, and all the rest.

Safe to say this is the biggest thing to come to my render-making process since I picked up using Raycast in the first place.

(Also, quick little quibble, but am I the only one annoyed by the fact that the Talon Sombra skin doesn't come with a red hack interface? Like, her Cyberspace skin has a blue one! Why can't this skin have something that sticks out a little less? Ah well, at least I can change it in my renders.)
