Oh, Road. She was so much fun.
Not to make, mind you. Just to be. XD

The shirt is stretch sateen, and all those points had to be drawn and cut out on the shirt's hem. (Thank you so much for your help, Clone!).
The skirt is twill, and has its oh-so-evil pleats.
Costume was made by me.

What products did you use for the spikes?
I'm doing a Road cosplay and I'm having a hard time with the wig >.<

Hairspray. I had a "New Punk" style wig which is made for spiky do's, but it sheds a LOT so I don't recommend it. I'd say get a Punky wig (I think both amphigory.com and cosworx.com sell them) and just attack that thing with copious amounts of hairspray!! <33

I'd love to see a picture of your completed Road cosplay! She's such a crazy little girl, isn't she?

A wig. 8D cosworx.com 's New Punk style wig in black, and you just pull it into neat spikes with lots of hairspray.

To do it with normal hair, I'd say try blow-drying it upside down, and use lots of Got2B styling products (glue and freeze spray work well)

I've used the Got2B spiking glue by itself and almost got my mass of hair into a mohawk. 8D With the freezing spray, it probably would have been fine. I have cosplayer friends who SWEAR by those two products and hairspray for gravity-defying Square Enix spikes.
