Just to clarify, this guy is not the same guy as the Apeo on the right in this wallpaper. I just like the color blue! :P In fact, he's technically supposed to be myself if I was an Apeo. xD And his name is KAs.1Moving on ... I seemed to have had a lot of fun doing the rain on Spring Rains, so I thought I'd try it again. But also I wanted to see how well I could draw a laser being diffused by rain. Which I suppose I did okay.. AND, since it's raining on the ground, there's little water splashes! Lots and lots of little water splashes! >8D
When you make your own brushes, all of a sudden, things are easier! xD
Oh yeah, and since this has nothing to do with the actual story, just the EVE universe, I think I'll start doing EVE prefixes (like here) for such, and TEC for artwork for the story.

I keep trying to draw an Apeo, and each time it's an epic faillllll :[
Number 1 problem with me: I'm really good at imagining really detailed and beautful pictures and drawings, but I can't draw ANY of them!

ZOMG I just noticed something! The markings on the Lx.2 are smooth and curved, and she's fast and aerodynamic. On KAs.1, the markings are sharper and close to geometrical shapes, so I'm guessing his attack abilities are high...
I believe I have stumbled upon something that reveals what the specified Apeo's abilities are... >:3
But what's with those huge FEAR in the top-left? They look like they're 12 feet tall!

The raindrops on the ground, did you make a brush for that? (I'm also guilty of making brushes like that for the sake of being realistic)
The lasers dulled by the rain looks to tangible. like you were almost looking at this scene first-hand. Lovely!

But yes, I did slap together a quick brush to make the water splashes, and I'm glad I did. :] Making brushes is nothing to be guilty of, all those amazing Photoshop proz probably make dozens of brushes for every pic they do! :0

Yup pretty much what he said. The FEAR (Here's one) are the watery beings and they're the primary bad guys of the story. xP
And the second one (N.asb) are some other race that I decided would not be in the final story. xD

Actually, that was intentional. I didn't want the whole BG to be OMGBLURREDBYRAIN, so I added something to the midground to break things up a bit. Even then, it's still pretty gray. xD
