I couldn't help but draw Smaug after watching The Hobbit yesterday. How amazing was that? Oh lol i'll just respond to my own question by saying so amazingly awesome it defies words. After watching the movie it made me want to read the book again (not to mention watch the movie again).Also talk about Martin Freeman, what an amazing actor he really was a commanding presence in his role, he really brought Bilbo Baggins to life. I can see why Peter Jackson wanted him to be the Bilbo. I wouldn't be surprised if Martin won an award for his brilliant acting.
lol plus the dwarves were awesome (not to mention Richard Armitage lol he looks hot as a dwarf, but you didn't hear that from me haha). I say they all did amazing.
I felt as if the story was really well thought out and the characters were brought out well (lol btw did you all know that Benedict Cumberbatch was the Necromancer? For those of you who don't know, which I'm sure all of you do. Benedict Cumberbatch will be playing Smaug as well. lol how lucky is he that he gets to play two people in the movie. I can't wait to see Martin Freeman go up against the dragon, I keep laughing for the fact that in BBC Sherlock they're friends but in The hobbit they're enemies. lol i'm fangirling now that's for sure.

That is not a bad look for him. I always considered Smaug to look very regal, and this is very much that.

You are very welcome. I was always excited to read about the dragon in the book, and Smaug was (to me anyway) the thing that would make or break the movies. And this kind of artwork is very much what I imagined in my head when I thought of Smaug.

Yes, I've seen the film. The animated one and the Peter Jackson one. I was trembling a lot through Smaug's introduction in The Desolation of Smaug and when he started talking. But what won me over was when he confirmed what I'd already suspected about Thorin. Smaug was more than I thought he was going to be. And the Smaulock idea? I've seen a number of people do that. Never fails to make me smile.

She's sort of a Stoat but with a longer, fluffier squirrel tail and she has a longer snout, and hand-paws that are sort of like an Aye-aye.
