I love my icon haha I've had it since 2005 when I started DA. I love this icon and I love Saitou, he's such a dynamic character. Haha I love how I'm talking about Rurouni Kenshin on my spiral staircase picture.

There was something about Saitou that I just loved from the moment I saw him. I think it was his no-nonsense attitude of getting things done, the fact that he was tall, dark and mysterious and that he had a tough-guy act that he could literally back up with actions. (unlike Sano-for the most part).

My favorite part was when Misao and Kenshin found out he was married. I think I've read so many fanfics where he's rough and tumble around people but at home he shows a different side (that's how I see him even if they didn't show it in the series haha). Oh a huge part about Saitou that I love is his nonchalance.

Yup he was married. You find out after Kenshin saves Eiji that little boy who's brother and parents were killed in the same village that Kenshin fought shishio's henchman (soujiro's his name). Haha you should find a snippet of it online.

I thought he was cool and chill, but I don't know why I didn't start liking him first (because you see him before you see Saitou). I think there was something about Saitou just drew me to him. I think it was his no-nonsense attitude and how straightforward his view was on the world (haha he was a wolf to the end and never changed like Battousai-I mean Kenshin did). Don't get me wrong I love Kenshin as well, but Saitou, there was just something about him that was so cool to me.
