Story:
The ancient evil Abyss (from marvel vs capcom), has been resurrected by the being Tabuu.(smash bros). Thus leading them to team up and control two multiverses, Nintendo and Capcom. Professor hector (gyromite) had divised a plan to combat this threat, assemble many heroes from capcom and nintendo to stop it. So he hires Ruby heart and Mr stevenson to go dimension-hopping for heroes to save all of reality.
Characters:
I orginally added professor hector from gyromite in the game but decided to go with R.O.B since he is more iconic. For mr Stevenson, i imagine him having a moveset similar to duck hunt's from smash bros, since gumshoe was an nes zapper game.
