Would you believe this is Jim Carrey? Seriously, this is him or rather how he looks like in his next movie, "The Number 23". The official website has a TON of stills but I prefered this picture in particular because of the unique tribal/thorn tattoo that wraps around his left arm (it actually wraps around his back too).Painting took me 5 straight hours. I did it in black and white for practice, like a charcoal drawing, only... not... in... charcoal.
And as for the background... well, it didn't turn out abstract-y as I wanted and it looks unbalanced X_X Can't think of what to add or what to make as a background right now... maybe a fanart wallpaper for JimCarreyOnline.com?
It comes out on February 23 (lol), the same time with "Reno 911!: Miami".

amazing work >.< i luv this movie ToT Carrey was amazing >.<..I grew up knowing him as a comedian ..but this role blew me away here..>.<...The best ive seen him play.....I think his detective character [the one you've drawn him in] Would be one hell of a seperate comic or movie..I could see him being some kind of character like the punisher ahahha..or just a psycho path serial killer ^o^ ehhe...great work again ^o^

I love this! The Number 23 is an extremely underrated movie and I personally adored Jim Carrey's performance. I think the only reason it got bad reviews was because everyone expects him to do comedic stuff, but he was awesome in this. Everything about this picture is perfectly done, especially his hair. Kudos to you!

You didn't like the story? That's too bad; I quite enjoyed it. Although, given the fact that I have obsessive tendencies myself, it makes sense...Though I did notice plotholes throughout the movie, especially with the timeframe. I still don't know how old he really was because none of the dates made sense.

Despite Jim Carrey being one of the best comedy actors out there, he did pretty good in a horror movie lol.
Now the movie was truly weird. And I would have to watch it again myself cause me and my friends always make inside jokes during movies.
So it didnt quite set the mood...
As for the picture. All have to say is, I wish I can paint like that.
Oh yeah, the movie leaves ya hanging about the actual number 23 and you keep adding things up for about a week lol

I still have to wait untill 28 februari for the number 23, but the movie still hasn't shown up in the 'expected movies'-pages on belgium theaters sites... I'm getting a little worried
